I contributed to the data reduction of the bolide observations with the final purpose of computing the strewn-field of the surviving meteorite fragments. Two meteorite pieces were recovered on 04/01/2020, for a total weigth of 55.3 g, in the predicted area. I also contributed to the measurement of the gamma-activity (and data analysis) of the main mass (51.7 g) at the Monte dei Cappuccini Laboratory. - PRISMA radio: I am also working for the analysis of PRISMA radio data, with the main purpose of deriving a precise estimation of the velocity for bolides observed also by PRISMA optical cameras. I co-tutored the thesis of a Bachelor's student (Francesco Finelli) who studied the operational principles and capabilities of the radio observations within the PRISMA project. - Mini-EUSO: After a training period about the JEM-EUSO collaboration, I worked on the trigger algorithm for meteor detection on Mini-EUSO data. In the meanwhile, I co-tutored the activity of two Bachelor's students (Sara Bertone and Federico Reynaud). I worked with them to analyze the first complete Mini-EUSO sessions, looking for meteors. We identified few thousands of meteors and meteor candidates. We also gave a first estimation of the limiting magnitude of the instrument and compared to predicted sensitivity. These topics, together with the analysis of triggered events, will be argument of more careful studies in the next year. I am also working to identify, between meteors detected by Mini-EUSO, any candidate for a stereo-detection with ground observations (i.e. meteor networks around the world). At the moment we identified about 10 candidates and soon we will contact the network managers to check for this possibility. - DIMS: I am working for the analysis of DIMS data, who had a few observational campaigns in 2018-2019 with two optical cameras looking for meteors and nuclearites. The observation of nuclearite events in the Earth's atmosphere would give direct evidences for the existence of dark matter in space. I am co-tutoring the activities of a Master student (Simone Valenti) on this topic. - Cappuccini: I am also collaborating with the Monte dei Cappuccini Laboratory (Prof. Carla Taricco) for the analysis and publication of the gamma-activity measurements of some meteorites, in addition to the work for the Cavezzo meteorite measurements. - Solar Physics / SWELTO / TLEs: I worked on the analysis of data from the Kepler and SOHO/UVCS missions in collaboration with Dott. Salvatore Mancuso (INAF-OATo). I am also collaborating to the SWELTO project and I am mainly involved in the studies of possible correlation between TLE occurrences and solar activity (with possible applications also for PRISMA for TLE observations). --------------------------------------------------- Publications in the current year - A.
