First silicon results are expected during the 1st quarter of 2013. The chip is developed in the framework of the EndoTOFPET-US collaboration and provides time and energy measurements of events produced by a SiPM coupled to a L(Y)SO fast scintillator. Main responsibilities and activities: 1. Design of a low power, low input impedance analogue front-end (amplification chain, discriminators, DACs, ...) 2. Design of a 50 ps binning mixed-signal low power TDC (analogue circuitry, digital blocks for operation control, multi-buffering, event validation, data registers and interface with chip back-end, ...) 3. Design of chip top-level circuitry (global configuration DACs, calibration circuitry) 4. Chip floorplan, IO ring, power network and top-level routing 5. Chip integration and verification Manuel D.
